The stack is physics, then machines, then judgment

Deep technology in this domain is not a slide about AI. It is radiation-tolerant electronics, high-temperature materials, digital twins constrained by neutronics and heat transfer, and sensors that still mean something after months on station.

Autonomy belongs next to the operator, not instead of one. A cislunar asset on a delayed link needs state estimation and a record. It does not need an unbounded model with authority over a protection system.

Programs fail when the physics is demonstrated and the deployment artifacts are missing: test, metrology, traceability, and a cadence a partner can plan against.
